Decisions on oral presentations will be made depending on the abstracts submitted. Once the abstract is accepted for oral presentation, either an extended abstract or a full-paper can be submitted. Note that one of these is mandatory for oral presentation, an abstract submission alone will not suffice.<\/p>\n<p>You may submit your abstract to a specific mini-symposium; however, you may also make a general abstract submission which does not belong to any mini-symposium. In the case of a general submission, depending on the content, your contribution will be placed in the relevant technical session.<\/p>\n<p><u>Abstracts: <\/u><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Abstract submissions should include title, author(s), author(s) affiliation, author(s) email, abstract text (maximum 250 words), and relevant mini-symposium (if applicable).<\/li>\n<li>Abstracts must be in English and should explain the content as well as summarise results and major conclusions.<\/li>\n<li>Abstracts will be reviewed with regard to scientific quality and suitability for the symposium.<\/li>\n<li>Please indicate whether you intend for your ultimate submission to be an extended abstract or a full paper.<\/li>\n<li>Please indicate whether you are submitting your abstract for a specific mini-symposium or as a general submission (a full list of mini-symposiums can be found <a href=\"https:\/\/seg2018.epfl.ch\/index.php\/mini-symposium-topics\/\">here<\/a>).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><u>Extended abstracts and full-papers: <\/u><\/p>\n<p>Extended Abstracts: Extended abstracts are eligible for oral presentation and they will be included in the digital conference proceedings available for download. Extended abstracts should be maximum 2-pages long.<\/p>\n<p>Full-Papers: Full-paper submissions will be published in the book of the proceedings by Springer and indexed in Scopus and SpringerLink.
